You can learn the skills necessary or outsource them.
It is inexpensive to set up compared with traditional business, no shop or premises required just a laptop and internet connection is needed.
There are many simple methods of bringing visitors to your website, paid and organic.
There are companies in every niche looking for affiliate marketers. They make the sales pages, arrange delivery and take payments, in fact do most of the work. As an affiliate you just direct visitors to their pages, unless you want to build your own list.
There are many others who have already achieved their success as role models.
You can make new friends with colleagues with similar interest in your niche.
It seems to be a tradition with internet marketing to offer help and advice to other colleagues freely, much less cutthroat than offline business, certainly at the entry-level. Probably because the Internet offers so much scope for business there is less perceived threat from competitors.
Is this something you want to build as an exit from the rat-race. Would you enjoy working at home? Perhaps you would find it easier to work around family life. Or is it an early retirement plan. Maybe you just want a new hobby a new venture and you will wait and see how it grows. Perhaps some extra income is the incentive.
