Your Goal Should Be To Become A Super Affiliate In Your Chosen Niche Market

It is now easier than ever before to buy a suitable domain name for your chosen niche, to set up hosting for your website and to build a professional looking website. I use WordPress for my websites.
Close to 50 million people now have their personal and business websites live on the Internet and this number is still growing strongly. In 2015, consumers spent US$1.6 Trillion on purchases online (eCommerce) and this grew at over 20% on 2014. This is 3 times faster than the rate of growth in retail spending.
Within this market, there are now hundreds, in fact, thousands of sites operated by the Internet sales Industry offering affiliate programs and products, so you have a huge choice of where to start.
So, it is now much easier:
1. To find a suitable domain name,
2. To find a reliable hosting company and
3. To find a suitable affiliate provider suitable for your chosen niche.
Another factor you need to look out for is the support that the affiliate company and the hosting provider will make available. It is my view that normal advertising - such as in print or on TV - will become less and less effective, whilst word of mouth will be a growing trend. So when people buy your product and it does what you say it will do for them, and your support and service is excellent, then, and only then, will they tell their friends about you.
You should see this as an opportunity for you to differentiate yourself from the hundreds of other similar affiliate markers in your chosen niche.
So here is my take on how one can become a successful affiliate in the specific niche markets with their website. I want to use as an example the web hosting company you are using. If you think about it, everyone who has a website needs a web hosting company to host it for them.
Try this out. If you are quite happy and satisfied with your website hosting company, ask them if they have an affiliate program that you can participate in. So once you have sold a few hosting packages to your site visitors, then instead of you paying them for your hosting, they will end up paying you - so your hosting is free. The process can be as easy as putting a small "powered by" or "hosted by" link at the bottom of your page - this will be your unique affiliate link you will receive from your website host. With this one step, you are already in the affiliate business.
If they offer a residual affiliate program - a program where you get paid a percentage every month for a client that you refer - take this as it will give you a steady source of income. Over time, this simple step can give make you quite success as a web hosting affiliate. And I always recommend a blog, so you can comment on the pros and cons of choosing the right hosting company on your blog.
Of course, for all affiliate programs, you will need to drive a lot of traffic (visitors) to your website so that a percentage of them will click on your affiliate link and purchase web hosting. I will discuss ways to drive tons of traffic to your site(s) in a future article.
Web hosting is just one affiliate market you could focus on to make a good and continuous income. Remember that to be successful, time, effort and patience is needed.
There is no such thing as the perfect affiliate market niche. But some people do know how to make it big in their niche. It is just understanding your kind of market and focusing there.
So, choose the niche that you want to market to, understand the problem that this niche wants to solve and show your visitors how your product can solve their problem.
