Make Money With Your Blog Posts

Make Money With Your Blog
Most people have probably heard about the possibility to make money with a blog. Very few, however, actually succeed in monetizing their blog to such a level they can make a living out of it.
There are plenty of blogs which make pocket money off course, earning their owners maybe a few hundred dollars a month.
Very few bloggers, however, manage to create a full income with their writing, and there are several reasons for that.
One of the major reasons is that most bloggers see their activity as a hobby, spending only a few hours a week or even less on their Blog. Perhaps they don't feel the need to create a full time income, or maybe they think it's not possible to do so with a Blog.
Nothing could be further from the truth!
Treat Your Blog Like A Real Business
If you want your blog to provide you a real income, you'll have to treat it like a real business. This means you should be spending as much time on it as humanly possible!
Making money with a blog is known to be a slow process, so if you're spending only 4 hours a week creating content, you can imagine how many years it will take before you start making any decent amount of money with it!
Further more, many people fail to understand the importance of syndicating your blog posts. Spreading your posts across the internet as much as possible, is probably the most important activity in making your blog successful, and there are many different ways to do that.
Choosing the right strategy to syndicate your posts is therefore very important to monetize your blog.
Off course, the easiest and most common way to make money with your blog is through affiliate marketing. Offering the visitors of your blog the possibility to buy a product or service, for which you will receive a commission.
However, much of your success and income will depend on what kind of products you offer, and how your sales funnel looks like.
Most people make the mistake of thinking it will be easier to sell very cheap products, and they choose an array of products which are not even remotely connected to each other.
A good affiliate strategy will select a number of products which are related to each other, and have an increasing price tag.
The reason for this being that most people who are interested in a certain topic and buy a product related to that topic, will later decide to buy another, more expensive product related to that same topic!
