For example, in my own business, I use my entrepreneurial books to promote coaching offers. I use my mindfulness and meditation oriented books to promote a mindfulness course and community that I own with others. This way, not only are your readers purchasing your books on Amazon and other global marketplaces, they are simultaneously being offered the opportunity to work with you in a higher level capacity, or in a more intimate environment as well. Only a very small percentage of your book audience will actually become private clients of course, but if you have a high end offer that truly offers great value to that small subset of readers, that's really all you need.
For example - if you are an accountant, and your average client pays you a fee of $1,000 per year for accounting services, and every 100 books you sell on Amazon generates 1 new client (in addition to the income from 100 book sales) 1,000 books would translate into a MINIMUM of 10k in coaching revenue, in addition to your book royalties.
